Meeting Time: To be determined - this page will be updated periodically.
Fuel: Make sure to fuel up before arriving in Burlington. Depending on your route, Basin, Greybull, Powell, Cody or Meeteetse are the closest places to fuel up.
Email to Sign Up: Use the email provided in the announcement video. Alternatively, you can contact Melissa via any of the Wyoming Jeepers' social media accounts to provide name and email to her. The reason for the email is to allow us to inform participants of any possible changes.
Communication: Vehicle to vehicle will be GMRS radios. FRS radios will also work on GMRS frequencies.
Vehicle Requirements & Types: We understand folks love side by sides, four wheelers and motorcycles but this trip is intended for regular vehicles only. The equivalent of a 4WD Jeep Wrangler and 33" tires is a minimum. Lockers are not necessary but you should have 4WD and low range. These are the bare minimum vehicle requirements. You still may hit a dif or scrape front or rear bumbers without a lift. Please bring a vehicle in good enough condition to make the trip. Bring a spare tire so we have a better chance of completing the planned trip.
About the Trail: This trail is a combination of trails from our Burlington Pass and Hoodoos of the Badlands videos. Most of the trails are two-tracks going to very remote areas. There will be gully crossings, a few razor backs and shelf roads. Some areas of the roads have washed out areas. Depending on the timing, the trail can be from 50 plus to 75 plus miles. Seeing other vehicles is unlikely for most of the trail.
Food: Bring your own snacks and lunch.
Lunch Stop: We will be stopping along the way for lunch. We could easily spend an hour meeting people, looking at rigs, eating, etc.
Etiquitte: We want this trip to be fun for all involved. Please be considerate of everyone. This is a drug/alcohol free trip.
